Dear Infoscion, Value Design is the name for Infosys’ new pursuit and proposal response machinery that will cover pursuits with existing as well as new accounts. We are looking for people who can help us create proposals, presentations and marketing content that is professional looking, innovative and appealing. We are looking for creative designers and professional writers who have experience in building world class content and graphics. The designers should be capable of strategizing, setting direction, monitoring and developing the design stream to ensure delivery of optimal design solutions Value Design is the name for Infosys’ new pursuit and proposal response machinery that will cover pursuits with existing as well as new accounts. Value Design is one of the largest transformations we have undertaken, covering the Global Markets team, the newly constituted Value Design team, and the Delivery teams. There is a heightened urgency to solve the problem of winning new business and of improving win rates. Much has changed since the design of our previous sales and pursuit process nearly a decade ago. The company is larger, at $7bn, and has undergone a major reorganization and also a re-articulation of our business strategy (Building Tomorrow’s Enterprise). Our competitors are similarly larger and, arguably, more competitive than they were only a few years ago. Clients are also more sophisticated in their buying practices, and solving their needs requires vendors to assemble large, complex solutions in an agile pursuit. Market realities dictate that we change the way we approach the problem of winning new business. Value Design engine consists of a methodology, and an underlying backbone organization. This will ultimately impact the 14-15000 employees that participate in pursuits.
